Hayley Orantia is an American singer, actress and performer. The majority of people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. She is primarily an actor. Music is the first passion that she insists on; it's something she has dabbled at when she was nine years old. The first time she began to study music professionally when she was 12 years old. After experimenting with music, she decided to record her album of music covers when she was 14. From that moment on she's not ever looked back. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. Even though she spoke only English as a child and never been to Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic origins. By learning Spanish and composing songs, she is trying to keep the culture alive. One of her efforts was an original Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X-Factor when she uploaded a YouTube performance video. She received an impressive four "yes" votes by the judge on the live stage audition in Seattle. Although she originally auditioned on her own in "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three other female vocalists were placed into a group for the rest in the selection process. The live shows were held during the week of 5th.
