Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and has aired up to 2020 in 27 seasons. Ina began her career in with nuclear energy policy and budgets for the White House. Though she found the career interesting initially, she eventually dropped interest and decided to purchase a smaller specialty store called Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the shop extremely popular prior to selling it and grabbing a pen to begin writing her first book. There were many more cookbooks as well as magazine columns that followed. Meanwhile her Food Network television show too made its debut and became a hit. Ina sells a variety of products, from ingredients for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina never went to an institution for cooking or did she work at a restaurant. Ina is a self-taught cook. She is well-known for her effortless way of entertaining and easy food preparation. She is well-known for her quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Roasted Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and made with beef Bourguignon, and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
