Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actress, singer and songwriter for several years. In her early years, Sara was racially taunted by many people in America. When she attended a 9th grade school audition in which she received high praise for her voice as she built confidence. The experience not only increased her confidence but also changed the direction she pursued in her professional career. She graduated at the age of 22 with a degree from Julliard School in New York. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her film debut You've Got Mail were both major breakthroughs. But her biggest break came when she appeared in the role in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the first Broadway show Spamalot receiving not just an award called the Tony Award for her performance but also a flurry of praise from critics. The following year, she appeared as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC, she gained greater appreciation. As a well-known singer, she has also released both an album and a musical. She's also an activist who works hard in the fight for LGBT rights.
